What is the Blog Action Day?
Blog Action Day (or BAD) is a cyberspace-wide event where bloggers show their support for a certain cause and issue by, what else, blogging about it. We want the BAD to have hundreds, and even thousands of Filipino netizens talking about the issue of budget cuts to social services: what do you feel about it, how will it affect you, what can we do about it, etc. And by talking about it, we hope we will influence more into making a stand and taking action!
So how exactly do you participate on BAD vs. Budget Cuts?
First, read about the issues. A good source is here and here.
Second, write and blog about it. You can write about even before Sept. 16 and just store it first.
Third, publish it on your blog, or even in your Facebook and Multiply accounts. So we can monitor it and thank you for participating, please post a link to your entry here!
Now you’re ready to participate on BAD vs. Budget Cuts. Don’t forget to spread the word about it. Hope to hear from you on Sept. 16!
